Taking things further is an exercise that I always find stimulating in all areas of my specialist field. Taking things further in the world of “cologne”, looking at it through a larger prism and starting from challenges already met, stimulates me even more. In this composition I leave behind three or four fresh notes that seek the simplicity of “less is more”. I even go beyond the five classical notes of a more fougère freshness to create a composition that gains in intensity while losing none of its freshness.
The initial notes are laden with Bergamot, lime, lemon, basil and Artemisia. Then I pursue this unusual exercise by giving the composition more body with balsamite, galbanum, neroli and lily of the valley. Eventually I arrive at a heart note that deliberately spikes the overall freshness of the perfume, enhancing its intensity without diminishing its lightness, with just the right touch of holm-oak moss and amberwood.

Ingredients
In Ten Fresh Notes, freshness is neither simple nor obvious: it multiplies through the green energy of bergamot, lime, and grapefruit. Jasmine and galbanum give body to the composition, taking clarity into a more daring and sophisticated territory. Vetiver, musk, and oakmoss leave a natural, intense trail — fresh without ever becoming predictable.
